Evrett Lee Murphy was born on March 22 and has been diagnosed with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). He is currently being treated at St. Louis Children's Hospital while he awaits a life-saving bone marrow transplant (BMT) which he cannot receive until he is three months old.
Evrett’s parents, Kristen and Lee, have moved to an apartment within 10 minutes of St. Louis Children’s Hospital so they can be closer to him. His family and friends have been organizing blood and bone marrow drives. You can read more about Evrett and leave a message on his CaringBridge website -- www.caringbridge.org/visit/evrettlee.
You also can learn more about HLH on the Histiocytosis Association of America website and how you can become a bone marrow donor on the National Marrow Donor Program website.
