Aiden Coyne was diagnosed at 17 months with a rare blood disease called Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH). Histiocytosis attacks the skin, bones, lungs, liver, spleen, gums, ears, eyes, and/or the central nervous system. Because this disease is so rare, there is no government-supported funding and, therefore, little research is done to find the cause of and cure for LCH.
Your participation in and/or donation to this event will help the Histiocytosis Association of America in its efforts to find a cure for histiocytosis so that Aiden and all the other children around the world with have the chance to conquer this terrible disease.
